How to measure your van

Use this section to show customers that installation is manageable, predictable, and supported by clear project steps.

Step 1

Find your wheelbase

Check the sticker on the driver's door jamb — it lists the wheelbase (e.g., "148WB" or "148 Extended"). For Transit, this determines which custom mat template applies.

Step 2

Measure cargo floor width

Measure between wheel wells at their widest point — this is your critical measurement. Most cargo vans are 55–74" wide between wheel wells.

Step 3

Measure cargo floor length

From the back of the cab partition to the rear cargo door opening. Universal mat lengths are 123" — custom mats are cut to your specific van's floor length.

Step 4

Choose universal or custom

If your van make is in the custom lineup below, custom CAD-cut gives you a drop-in fit with wheel well cutouts pre-cut. Otherwise, select the appropriate universal width.

Common Questions
How do I find my van's wheelbase?

Check the sticker on the driver's door jamb. The wheelbase is listed on the vehicle placard alongside the GVWR.

Will custom mats slide around in my van?

No. The rubber weight and non-slip underside hold the mat in position during normal van use. No adhesive required for most installs.

Can I order custom mats for a fleet of mixed van makes?

Yes. Submit your fleet list (make, model, year, wheelbase) via the fleet quote form and we'll provide a quote for all configurations in a single order.
