Step 1

Measure your cargo area

Measure cargo floor width (between wheel wells), floor length (cab to rear door), and the size of each wheel well protrusion. Write these down before cutting.

Pro tip Measure twice before trimming. It is always recommend to round up or add 1/2" to measurements.
2
Step 2

Allow the mat to relax and flatten

Unroll the mat on a flat, clean surface and allow 30 minutes to an hour to relax, especially in cold conditions. Cutting a curled mat produces inaccurate results.

Pro tip When cold, it may take 24 hours for mat to completely flatten. Laying the mat flat in the sun helps the mat to flatten faster.
3
Step 3

Mark your cut lines

Mark the overall mat size (floor width + 1/2" each side for any variance), and mark the wheel well cutout positions from your measurements. Mark on the underside using chalk or a marker.

4
Step 4

Cut with a utility knife + straight edge

Use a fresh blade and a metal straight edge. Score the mat with firm pressure — it may take 2–3 passes through the full 4mm thickness. Cut on a sacrificial surface (cardboard or plywood).

5
Step 5

Place in cargo area — no adhesive needed

Lay the mat in place. The rubber weight holds the mat without adhesive. For high-activity environments, you can use double-sided carpet tape along the edges to prevent shifting.
